4259_Dent Co Box Culvert

 

  Arrived onsite at 11:15 am to Pour walls for Box Culvert, Contractor was only able to get two ready. Concrete was running behind. First truck arrived at 12:22, I tested concrete; Air 5%, Slump 6', Temp 80°. I made three cylinders, pour went good. Called plan and requested to dry it up some. Next pour will be on Thursday.

  Arrived onsite at 7:30, Contractor was finishing up forms and gathering equipment for the pouring of the floor of the box culvert. First five trucks had Air issues. Bad Air pod at plant, Pour went well other than Air Issue. Form work and rebar placement was good. first Truck arrived at 7:40, Had to add air and finally rejected it do to low Air 3%. Finished pour around 1:00 pm, made two sets of Cylinders. Next pour will be at the first of next week. Ended up being short, had to call for a couple yards to finish.
